Although, I was unable to attend Meg’s opening in Orange County, I have been reading and listening to her positions and vision for California. First and foremost, I am impressed!
However, as Arnold will tell you making changes and cutting “liberal” spending in Cali a tough sell to say the least. But I do like again what she will “TRY” to do, so I do support her for Governor.
Her position on Health Care Reform is very close to mine. Here is a quote from http://www.megwhitman.com/platform.php
Quote:
As the national debate continues, I want to reaffirm my opposition to the public option. I support access to affordable and quality health care for all Californians. I oppose new mandates that drive up the costs of health care. We must work on reforms that increase access. As the national debate progresses, California must be part of the dialogue to ensure that our current system is protected and the focus is on affordability and quality. Meg Whitman
End Quote:
I say give the woman a chance, and that’s not because I am a woman!
Go MEG!

Thanks for the link Annlou, I have heard her on the radio but never read anything she’s said. I like what she is focused on, Jobs, Spending Cuts and Education. I just hope she’s able to do it, the Unions have a strangle hold on this state. Have for years!!
So good luck

Breaking News, former Governor Jerry Brown has announced his candidacy to replace Arnold. Although Political Square does not usually back one candidate over another, or side with one party we must say we are opposed to having the TAX and SPEND Brown elected. Our suggestion is to Vote for MEG!

I personally would love to see Jerry Brown in the office, he was my hero!
